Wright City Residential Trash Collection
The Wright City Utility Department handles the delivery of trash service to the residents of Wright City. Business hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Payments can be made at City Hall during business hours at the 24-hour drop box, located out front of City Hall or online using your credit card at Courtmoney.com.

Trash Changes Coming Soon!
As of March 1, 2021 Grace Hauling will be the new trash provider for the residents of Wright City. The following provides important information and frequently asked questions regarding the changes in service.
When will Meridian be picking up their totes?
- Rigid Recycle Tote – Wednesday, February 17th
- Fiber Recycle Tote – Wednesday, February 24th
- Trash Tote – Friday, February 26th
Please have all totes out to the curb by 6:00 a.m. on the dates above. If you tote is not collected, please contact Meridian Customer Service at 314-291-3131
When should I expect to see my tote(s) from Grace Hauling?
Grace Hauling plans to begin delivering totes the week of February 15th.
What will my new dates of service be?
- Trash: Residents south of I-70 Tuesday
- Trash: Residents north of I-70 Wednesday
- Recycle: All residents Thursday
Carts should be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 A.M. or the night before. Please place carts as close to the street as possible and a minimum of six feet away from mailboxes, vehicles, or other obstructions.
Will the recycle program be changing?
Recycling will be a single-stream recycling program. Information on the materials that can be placed inside the one (1) tote will be mailed to you and made available soon.
How much will services cost?
The rate for Trash and Single-Stream Recycle Service will be $16.00 per month and $14.50 per month for seniors.
The rate includes one (1) 95-gallon trash cart and one (1) 95-gallon recycle cart.
When should I expect my first bill?
Residents will be billed quarterly. Your first bill from Grace Hauling will be mailed on March 01. Payments are due by the 15th of the month. If not paid within 30 days of the invoice date a late fee will be assessed. If you require additional carts or changes to your service you must contact Grace Hauling.
What Holidays will my services be delayed?
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If these holidays fall on or before your regular trash or recycle collection day, your collection will be one day later that week. If the holiday falls on the weekend, no delays will occur that week. The holiday schedule is available on our website and reminders are printed on our invoices.

Water & Sewer Problems
As of July 12, 2018, if you have problems or concerns with your water or sewer service please contact Water Supply District #2 at 636-561-3737. This number is answered 24 hours a day. You can also go to their website www.waterdistrict2.com or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The City’s new trash two year contract with Grace Hauling will go into effect March 1, 2021.
