UTV and Golf Cart decals are here and registration is now open!
The Board of Aldermen have passed an ordinance allowing UTV’s and Golf Cart’s on City Streets. For a copy of Ordinance 1007 call or stop by City Hall.
Please note: Inspections of the UTV’s and Golf cart’s will only be completed on the following days and times:
Tuesdays: 9:00am – 11:00am & 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Wednesdays: 9:00am – 11:00am & 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Other days and times may be scheduled with the City Clerk by appointment only! Contact Abbie Ogborn at 636-745-3101 or email cityclerk@wrightcity.org to schedule.
Permit Process:
To register a UTV the following documentation is REQUIRED:
- Copy of Driver’s License
- Copy of Insurance (serial number and year of UTV must be referenced)
- Inspection of the UTV for the following:
- Operational Mufflers
- Exhaust Pipes
- Reflectors
- Single or Dual Beam Headlight System
- Taillights
- Either a Day-Glo Triangular Flag (At Least 7 Feet Above Ground) or Slow-Moving Triangle
- UTV APPLICATION
To register a Golf Cart the following documentation is REQUIRED:
- Copy of Driver’s License
- Copy of Insurance (serial number and year of golf cart must be referenced)
- Statement indicating that the LSV meets or exceeds the minimal federal safety requirements
- Inspection of the golf cart for the following:
- Reflectors
- Single or Dual Beam Headlight System
- Taillights
- Turn Signals
- Either a Day-Glo Triangular Flag (At Least 7 Feet Above Ground) or Slow-Moving Triangle
- GOLF CART APPLICATION
